Since its foundation, VOST Portugal has enjoyed the support of CIGA, which, as part of its social responsibility programme, actively contributes to this non-profit association. VOST Portugal is dedicated to risk communication and combating disinformation on social media, playing a crucial role in disseminating accurate and useful information to society.
This year, the partnership between CIGA and VOST Portugal took another important step. We accepted the challenge of revitalising the content produced by VOST Portugal for the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) to commemorate International Civil Protection Day. This collaboration emphasises the importance of promoting awareness and education about civil protection, reinforcing VOST Portugal’s mission to inform and protect the population.
The aim of renewing the content was to make communication more engaging and accessible, using design and narrative strategies that capture attention and convey key messages in a clear and impactful way. This joint effort reflects the strong bond between VOST Portugal and ANEPC, which maintain a co-operation protocol to ensure that critical information reaches the public efficiently and reliably.
CIGA is proud to continue supporting VOST Portugal and other projects that have a positive impact on society. Our contribution goes beyond simply creating content; we are committed to building a more informed and resilient society, where disinformation is combated with facts and clarity. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to social responsibility and the importance of collaborating with organisations that share our values of integrity and community service.
As it looks to the future, CIGA remains dedicated to fostering partnerships that generate tangible benefits for society. We will continue to support VOST Portugal in its vital mission of risk communication and combating disinformation, recognising that together we can make a significant difference to the well-being and safety of communities.
