On 18 May 2018, SOS Arganil transformed the auditorium of the Coimbra Conservatory of Music into a stage for laughter and solidarity with the show “Laughing for a Greater Cause”. This memorable event brought together seven talented comedians for an evening of comedy with a noble purpose: to support the communities devastated by the fires of October 2017.
To capture the essence of this special event, CIGA was commissioned to develop the show’s image. We accepted the challenge with passion, creating a visual identity that reflected both the lightness of humour and the depth of the cause. The vibrant and engaging design not only highlighted the infectious energy of the comedians, but also conveyed a message of hope and reconstruction to the affected communities.
The new image was meticulously crafted to resonate with the public, using cheerful colours and dynamic graphic elements that captured the essence of laughter and solidarity. Every detail, from the promotional posters to the digital materials, was designed to create an emotional connection, encouraging participation and support for the event.
“Laughing for a Greater Cause” was not just a night of laughter, but a movement of empathy and unity. The collaboration between SOS Arganil and CIGA resulted in an unforgettable show where humour and solidarity came together to make a difference. Together, we show that through laughter we can help rebuild lives and strengthen communities.
