Developed by CIGA for SPDOF – the Portuguese Society for Temporomandibular Dysfunction, Orofacial Pain and Sleep – the dororfacial.pt website is an essential tool for supporting health literacy in this clinical area, which is still little known to the general public.
With an accessible approach based on scientific evidence, the website was created to inform and guide patients, family members and caregivers about Temporomandibular Dysfunctions (TMD), Orofacial Pain (OOP) and sleep disorders. By bringing together clear content validated by experts, this platform aims to empower users to make more informed decisions about their health and well-being.
One of the standout features is the quick topic search, which allows you to explore content using keywords such as “pain”, “sleep”, “bruxism”, “anxiety”, “depression” or “stress”, facilitating direct access to the most relevant information.
CIGA was responsible for all the technical and design development of the project, creating a digital experience that was simple, intuitive and fully optimized for mobile devices. The focus was always on ensuring the accessibility of information, with fluid navigation and centered on the user’s needs.
This project stands out not only for its scientific component, but above all for its contribution to promoting health literacy in Portugal, making technical knowledge accessible to everyone in a clear, useful and responsible way.
